Monotony

We often fall into the routine of life. Sleep, wake up, work, sleep and over again. We try to fill the space in between with activities out of the norm to make life more exciting, but again we fall back into the routine. The safety of the monotony tend to hold people there like a hamster in that little wheel. The frustration though is not in the routine itself, but in the desire to break out and not knowing how to or not feeling comfortable taking the risk. Trying to gain that courage to just say "screw it" I am going to go out there and LIVE is a bit harder than expected. Responsibilities (ie. family, job, finances) are probably the biggest challenge when finally gaining the courage to get out there and live. It is, however, something only we ourselves have control of...nobody else. Either we get out there and break that routine that makes us delirious or we continue in that hamster wheel until we trip, fall off and break our necks....wishing you the BREAK from the routine.
